Dorayne Paulson

Dorayne Paulson, 86, of Luck, Wis., died Monday, Jan. 4, 2010, at St. Croix Regional Memorial Hospital. He died peacefully with his family at his side.

Dorayne was born in Luck and later moved to Ladysmith with his parents Alvina and Dougal Paulson and his brother Tony Paulson. He was a long-time mail carrier in the Luck area.

He was a prisoner of war, held by the Germans during the Battle of the Bulge.

Dorayne is survived by his brother Tony; and his children Jim and Doreen of Florida and Skeets of Indianapolis.

Memorial services with military honors will be held in the spring.
