Mark Stearns

Mark S. Stearns, 53, of Truckee, Calif., passed away Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010.

Mark was born Dec. 12, 1956, in Fort Rucker, Ala. He graduated from Ladysmith-Hawkins High School in 1975 and the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 1979.

Mark was employed by Norco Windows for 13 years as plant manager in Marinesco, Mich., and Redding, Calif. He then owned and operated the Truskee Dairy Queen in Truckee, Calif., for 18 years.

He is survived by his daughter Julie of Truckee, Calif.; his father Bill of Ladysmith; his brothers Chip of Missoula, Mont., and David of Algonquin, Ill. ; and his sister Sally Gallenberger of Eden Prairie, MInn.

Memorial services were held in Truckee, Calif.
