16-year-old dies after snowmobile head-on in Bruce A 16-year-old Bruce High School student lost his life when two snowmobiles collided Tuesday, Feb. 9, in Bruce.
The victim in the crash was Michael Alexander, 16, of Bruce.
Alexander and Mason Sheehy, 15, of Ladysmith, were riding one snowmobile. The other snowmobile was operated by Nathan Breitzman, 27, of Rice Lake.
The accident occurred on a trail near the Bruce Fire Hall.
Both Sheehy and Breitzman were taken to Rusk County Memorial Hospital for treatment for injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
