Tuesday: Dash video shows officers shooting bank robbery suspect A recently released dashboard camera shows officers in the line of fire following a high speed chase of a suspected armed bank robber on Oct. 30.
The Rusk County Sheriff’s Department released the video recorded by a camera in a truck driven by Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Conservation Warden Jeremy Peery.
The video shows a pursuit lasting almost 10 minutes before a car driven by suspect Rudolf Frenzer, 50, of Ingram, is forced off the road by two other officers along U.S. 8 just west of Bruce. Officers are seen drawing their weapons and opening fire on Frenzer, whose vehicle is mostly off camera and cannot be seen.
Frenzer was a suspect in the armed robbery of the branch of the Dairyland State Bank in Exeland.
