Donald Parker, Jr.
Donald B. Parker, Jr., 74, of Ladysmith, died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2010, in Eau Claire.
Donald was born Aug. 7, 1935, in Winona, Minn., to Donald Parker, Sr., and Alice Kreuzer. He married Pamela M. Brown, in West Concord, Minn., on Oct. 5, 1991.
He lived more than 30 years in Seattle, Wash., and seven years in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. He came to Rusk County in 1995.

Orran Ewer
Orran Thomas Ewer, 78, of Ladysmith, fell asleep in death on the evening of Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010, at Golden Age Manor in Amery from complications of Alzheimer’s disease.
Orran was born in Kingsford, Mich. on Nov. 25, 1931, to Thomas and Utha Ewer. He was second in line of 13 children.

Kerry Stevens
Kerry Lee Stevens, 54, of Weyerhaeuser, died on Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010, at the Luther Midelfort Northland Hospital in Barron.
Kerry was born on Aug. 1, 1955, in Ladysmith to David and Louise Woodmansee Stevens. He was married to Sandra K. Marschman in Weyerhaeuser on Aug. 14, 1993.
He was the owner and operator of Stevens Lumber and Supply in Weyerhaeuser. He served 24 years as Weyerhaeuser Fire Chief.
He was a plow driver for the Town of Stubbs and also the water and sewer manager for the Village of Weyerhaeuser.

Stephen Ronald Polak 68, of Chicago, died on Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010.
Steve was the loving son of the late Boniface and Ida Mae (Simmonson) Polak of Conrath. He was born Oct 26,1941.
Steve married Virginia Agnes Joyce June 15, 1963, and retired from Central Steel & Wire Company after 35 plus years. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and was Honorably discharged Sept. 1962.
