Veterans Day Ceremonies will be held throughout the area on Monday, Nov. 11 to honor United States veterans. The following is a list of area ceremonies.

9 a.m. — Ladysmith Elementary School with speaker Doug Dieckman.

9:30 a.m. — Our Lady of Sorrows School will hold their ceremony at the church.

10 a.m. — Bruce High School with the Bruce American Legion and Weyerhaeuser VFW conducting the ceremony.

10 a.m. — Flambeau School District with the Sheldon American Legion conducting the ceremony.

10:30 a.m. — Ladysmith Middle and High School.

2 p.m. — Ladysmith Care Community in the Cameo room.

The Veteran’s of Foreign Wars Post 2490 will hold a Veterans Day Ceremony at Memorial Park at 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 11. The ceremony will include an honor guard consisting of members of the American Legion Post 64, VFW, Disabled Veterans of America Chapter 33 and American Veterans Association Post 127. The keynote speaker at this year’s ceremony will be Linda Serek.

Following the ceremony at Memorial Park, there will be a potluck luncheon at the Veteran’s Memorial Association.
