Several area communities will be hosting July 4th family friendly events and activities to celebrate Independence Day. This year’s events include a new addition to the traditional lineup of events.
New this year is a truck and tractor pull at the Rusk County Fairgrounds, sponsored by the 2019 Rusk County Junior Fair, and will be held on Friday, July 5. Rusk County Junior Fair Coordinators Brooke Wiles and Breanne Meyer said the funds raised at the truck and tractor pull will be used to make the 2019 fair even better.
“With all the events going on at the fair, we find it hard to make the truck & tractor pull a success,” said Wiles and Meyer.
Registration begins at 5 p.m. on July 5 and there is a $25 entry fee per class. The event begins at 7 p.m. The truck and tractor pull is a sanctioned event by the Mid-State Pullers of Wisconsin, Inc.
