Jeff Mastin

The Lake Holcombe School district administrator has resigned the position he’s held for the last four years.

Jeff Mastin submitted his resignation effective June 30. It was accepted by the school board on June 18.

Mastin, a former principal at Columbus High School serving Dodge and Columbia counties in southeastern Wisconsin, was hired as Lake Holcombe School District superintendent in April 2014.

Earlier this month, Mastin was named a finalist for the superintendent position of the Waupun Area School District, which serves Dodge and Fond du Lac counties. Another finalist was named to that position.

He is succeeded by former Bruce School District Administrator

Joni Weinert has been named interim school district administrator as a search gets underway to find Mastin’s successor.

Weinert previously held the top administrator position in the Bruce School District.
