Glenn Hanson

Glenn Hanson, 86, of Weyerhaeuser, died on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019 at Woodstone Senior Living Center in Rice Lake under the care of hospice and the Woodstone staff who he loved. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 17, at Nash-Jackan Funeral Home in Bruce. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. following the visitation with Rev. Mark Bartlett officiating. Glenn will be buried in the Weyerhaeuser Village Cemetery.

Glenn Hanson, 86, of Weyerhaeuser, died on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019 at Woodstone Senior Living Center in Rice Lake under the care of hospice and the Woodstone staff who he loved.

Glenn was born April 3, 1933 in Weyerhaeuser. He always had an affinity for the railroad. He worked for the railroad as did his father. Later in life he found happiness with gardening and polka music.

He had many loves and passions in his life. Glenn was a Wisconsinite through and through. He passionately supported the Brewers, Packersand Badgers. He loved to talk sports and share a Leinenkugel’s with friends and neighbors.

He is survived by friends and neighbors.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Edith and father, Ben.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 17, at Nash-Jackan Funeral Home in Bruce. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. following the visitation with Rev. Mark Bartlett officiating.

Glenn will be buried in the Weyerhaeuser Village Cemetery.
