January 27, 1970 during a snow storm that would eventually drop 36 inches of snow and require the help of the National Guard to remove, Patricia Susan Helmuth made her entrance into this world in Burlington, Vt.

She developed a love for books at an early age, leading to her love for learning about anything and everything. She was quiet, yet people were drawn to her and she made friends easily.

The family moved back to Wisconsin, where she graduated an Honor Society Student from Flambeau High School. She went on to study at University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. While there she was privileged to study in Scotland which she enjoyed immensely and always hoped to return one day.

Her job took her to Albequerque, N.M., Salt Lake City, Utah and finally to Henderson, Nev. While there she and some friends joined forces and set off to Colorado to start a new business venture.

There, she began to get seriously ill and in time was forced to return to Ladysmith until her death on May 18, 2019.

Patti is survived by her mom, Jo Munn; father, Harold Helmuth; Papa Joe and many friends and paternal relatives.

Greeting her on another shore are Grandma Geneva; two aunts; Uncle Arthur; “Grandpa” Vern Clark and a few beloved canines.

Patti was loved and will be remembered fondly by all who were touched by her. Fly free my angel.

At Patti’s request, there will be no services.
